Probleme beim Hochladen von Avataren

Wir hatten hier gerade ein Problemchen beim Hochladen eines Avatars. Nach einigem Graben bin ich nun ueberzeugt, dass das Problem nur auftreten kann, wenn man schonmal einen anderen Avatar hochgeladen hat. Alle diejenigen, die also das erste Mal einen Avatar hochladen, sind nicht betroffen.

Mich wuerde nun mal interessieren, ob das vielleicht schonmal jemand beobachtet hat. Die Symptome sind

- der neue Avatar laesst sich nicht hochladen, obwohl er kleiner ist 256x256 pixel und auch die Dateigroesse kleiner ist als 500kb
- der Dateityp (gif, jpg,...) ist ein anderer als der zuvor verwendete
- vor Urzeiten hattest du schonmal einen Avatar in Benutzung, der dieselbe Dateiendung hat, wie die des Avatars, der gerade hochgeladen werden soll

Also - ist das schonmal jemandem aufgefallen?

Also hier nochmal fuer alle:

Avatar bei yahoo erstellen.
Fertigen Avatar bei yahoo "exportieren".
Im naechsten Bild Dateiformat .jpg einstellen (ist glaub ich standardmaessig auf .png)
Dann Rechtsklick auf das Bild, mit "Speichern unter..." auf der Festplatte speichern.
Dann hier ganz normal im Profil hochladen.
"Aktualisieren" klicken, hoffen.
Fertig.

Um's nochmal deutlich zu sagen. Es handelt es sich bei dem von mir angesprochenen Problem nicht darum, dass der Avatar hochgeladen wurde, aber nur nicht angezeigt wird.
Dieses Problem kann man - wie ganz richtig geschrieben - durch leeren des Caches bzw. durch druecken auf Reload/Neu Laden beheben.

Das beschriebene Problem ist vielmehr derart, dass beim Hochladen eine Fehlermeldung kommt, in der Art, dass der Avatar zu gross waere (was natuerlich nicht stimmt).

Ich hatte das ne zeitlang auch immer, es wwurde immer angezeigt, das das Bild zu gross sei. Den Neuen Avatar habe ich schon ewig auf der Festplatte...heute habe ich es nochmal probiert und jetzt gings ploetzlich.

Sehr schoen - das wollte ich wissen. Das Problem hatten auch noch andere und jetzt funktioniert es. Ich hatte mir naemlich einen Trick ueberlegt, mit dem man dem Problem beikommen kann, war aber nicht hundertprozentig ueberzeugt, dass der auch funktioniert.
